Should I carry a tripod during an african safari? - safari luggage
I plan to do a safari in Kenya and Tanzania. I wonder if carring a large tripod, it's worth Hasle. or if I am better to stay in the light.
Other suggestions, which I welcome in my pockets

I would not bother with it if I were you. You want to be able to move without too much trouble, and besides, unless you have, the better.
Take a mosquito net to sleep under. And wear a hat.
