How do you change a fuel filter in a diesel Ford F-350 Super Duty? - change diesel fuel filter santa fe

Jiffy Lube wants like $ 65, I think it should be fairly easy to accomplish. Who knows how to do it and can fill me?

The fuel filter is on top of the engine. Following the model of the year, is either a screw on the filter paper or item in a container. If it is an older model, you simply unscrew the old filter, fill with new fuel and the screw. If it is a newer model, is under a canopy of black is on top of the engine in place with a few screws that need to be eliminated instead. The housing has a filter, 3 "diameter black plastic cover on it. Screw the lid, remove the old filter and replace it with a new one. Fill the upper housing part and fuel screw back.
That is all.

When you buy the filter at the parts store instructions that accompany them. Change all the 10,000 miles I think, because the use of B20 biodiesel in my F350. The work is very easy, just messy.
